CUTTING

The range of automatic machines of Arcos also offers robotic systems for cutting, in particular:

Cutting with abrasive disc: it’s used for cutting particularly hard and tenacious materials, such as Inconel®, cast iron and heat treated steels;
Cutting with tape or special blades: suitable for softer materials such as steel, wood, brass, aluminum;
Plasma cutting: suitable for cuts in which the geometry of the product doesn’t allow the use of blades or discs. Plasma cutting can alter the material’s metallographic properties due to high temperatures, an accurate evaluation of the process is therefore necessary.
